The ALPINESTARS HYDE XT DRYSTAR XFS men's motorcycle jacket, size XL, is designed for enduro and adventure touring. Its single-layer outer shell features four-way stretch for freedom of movement, while the laminated waterproof DRYSTAR®XF membrane guarantees 100% waterproofness and high breathability. The jacket is reinforced with panels of abrasion-resistant rip-stop nylon. Safety is handled by the removable NUCLEON FLEX PLUS protectors and compatibility with Tech-Air® airbag vests.

Construction for comfort and durability

The jacket uses a single-layer construction where the DRYSTAR®XF climate membrane is laminated directly onto the outer fabric. This design prevents the outer layer from soaking up water, reduces the overall weight and speeds up drying. The four-way stretch material in the outer shell allows for unrestricted movement while riding. Exposed areas like the shoulders and elbows feature panels of abrasion-resistant rip-stop nylon to increase the jacket's overall lifespan and durability in a crash.

Advanced ventilation system and comfort features

For riding in warmer weather, you'll appreciate the direct ventilation system. Long ventilation zips on the front and back of the torso, along with zips on the forearms, enable efficient airflow directly to the body. The jacket also includes a separate inner mesh vest with sleeves, which enhances comfort. The extended back, adjustable neck circumference, and hook-and-loop straps at the cuffs for a precise fit all contribute to the overall comfort. The high collar has a soft microfibre inner side.

Comprehensive protection and airbag compatibility

The safety equipment includes removable NUCLEON FLEX PLUS (Level 1) protectors on the elbows and shoulders. You can further upgrade the jacket by adding NUCLEON back and chest inserts or by replacing the existing protectors with Level 2 NUCLEON FLEX PRO. A key feature is its full compatibility with TECH-AIR® airbag vests, specifically the TECH-AIR®5, TECH-AIR®3 and TECH-AIR®OFFROAD models. The outer layer is certified according to the EN 17092-5:2020 standard (Class B) and the inner protector according to EN 17092-6:2020 (Class C).
