All captured recordings can be stored on up to a 512GB memory card (card not included) or on encrypted cloud storage, which operates 24/7 (paid service). The AQARA Camera G100 Select supports backups to local NAS servers. The camera offers a time-lapse function that compresses an entire day's event into just 15 seconds, successfully compressing long hours of recording. With the optional HomeGuardian cloud solution, recordings are end-to-end encrypted, and key events triggered by connected sensors are automatically captured and tagged, making it easy to find important moments on the video timeline while protecting your data.
Local AI motion and person detection
The AQARA Camera G100 Select uses local AI detection, which sends a notification to your mobile phone when a person's movement is detected. If you use the HomeGuardian subscription, you'll have advanced Cloud AI detection that allows the camera to recognise faces, vehicles, pets, or packages. The camera is equipped with 2.4GHz Wi-Fi, which has wide coverage, better compatibility, and the ability to prevent interference. It also supports the WPA3 standard for stronger network security.
