The Prestige A5 is a large water filter jug with clean lines and a universal look. The Aquaphor Prestige jug is compatible with various replacement cartridges – Aquaphor A5, Aquaphor B100-5, and Aquaphor B100-6 – for softening hard water. Aquaphor filters remove all common unwanted substances from water, including: mechanical impurities like sand, clay, rust, etc.; heavy metals (lead, mercury), phenol, and petroleum products (benzene); active chlorine, chlorinated organic compounds (chloroform), and pesticides. The Prestige filter jug offers 4 levels of filtration for maximum water purification. It's a large-capacity jug with a comfortable grip, vibrant colours, and a sliding lid – this feature is particularly useful if the space under your tap is limited. All parts of the product are made from food-grade, BPA-free materials.

1. Filtration level – Carbon (coconut)
Aquaphor cartridges use finer carbon 'beads' (2× smaller than in ordinary cartridges), which increases the contact surface area of the sorbent and makes its use 4× more effective.
2. Filtration level – Aqualen
Aqualen is a patented fibre with two main properties: it effectively removes heavy metal ions from water. The Aqualen fibre binds the carbon together, increasing the filtration area. This increases the cartridge lifespan by 3× (compared to a standard cartridge).
3. Filtration level – Active silver
The active silver is dispersed on the patented Aqualen fibre. In standard filters, the silver is located on the carbon, which does not have a stable surface, so it quickly leaches into the filtered water. Since silver is a heavy metal, it becomes a harmful substance in large quantities. In Aquaphor filters, the silver is securely fixed and provides its bactericidal effects until the end of the cartridge's lifespan.
4. Filtration level – Ion-exchange resin
The ion-exchange resin removes calcium and magnesium ions (excessive hardness) from the water.
