The speed is steplessly adjustable across a wide range from 400 to 2500rpm via a 4-pin PWM connector for precise control of performance and noise.

The revised fan blade design strikes a balance between performance and quiet operation. The high static pressure of 5.2mmH2O and airflow of 110CFM support efficient heat dissipation from dense fins. The fan operates in a range of 400 to 2500rpm, but stops completely at low loads below a 5% PWM signal. This passive, zero-RPM mode eliminates all noise during light tasks.
Refined and quiet operation
The design, featuring a fluid dynamic bearing (FDB) and an extended shaft, improves pressure distribution and minimises vibrations. This optimised design contributes to quieter operation. The exceptionally smooth running is supported by automated dual-plane blade balancing, which is carried out with high precision during the manufacturing process. Applying balancing weights at two depth levels reduces friction and mechanical wear.
Motor control of the Arctic P14 Pro A-RGB fan
An integrated microcontroller actively reduces motor noise, which occurs mainly at low speeds. It also compensates for fluctuations in load and contributes to smooth performance regulation. At the same time, it protects the electronics against current surges and reverse polarity, increasing the reliability of the entire cooling system. All speed control is handled via a standard 4-pin PWM connector on the motherboard.
Connections and A-RGB backlighting
PWM Sharing Technology (PST) simplifies cable management inside the PC case. Thanks to an additional connector, multiple fans can be daisy-chained and synchronised to a single motherboard header. The visuals are handled by twelve addressable A-RGB Gen2 diodes, which support smooth colour transitions and complex lighting effects. This lighting is compatible with common A-RGB standards.
