ASROCK B760M-HDV/M.2

ASROCK B760M-HDV/M.2
The ASROCK B760M-HDV/M.2 motherboard is built on the Intel B760 chipset and features an LGA1700 socket. This mATX (Micro ATX) model is designed to support 12th, 13th and 14th generation Intel Core processors. Its compact size makes it ideal for building smaller yet powerful systems. The rear panel offers a modern USB-C 3.2 Gen 1 connector, three USB-A 3.2 Gen 1 ports and two USB 2.0 ports.
Key features of the ASROCK B760M-HDV/M.2 motherboard
- The 7+1+1 power phase design ensures a stable power supply to the processor and increases system reliability
- Support for DDR5 memory at 7200MHz and higher maximises performance using XMP and EXPO profiles
- A Hyper M.2 slot with a PCIe Gen4 ×4 interface provides transfer speeds of up to 64Gb/s
- The USB-C 3.2 Gen 1 connector on the rear panel makes it easy to connect modern peripherals with its reversible design
- Three graphics outputs—HDMI, DisplayPort and D-Sub—allow for flexible connection of monitors without a dedicated graphics card
Stable power and memory performance
The 7+1+1 phase power design ensures a smooth and stable power supply to the processor, which is crucial for maintaining performance even under heavy loads. Two DIMM slots support dual-channel configuration with a maximum capacity of 128GB. With support for Intel XMP and AMD EXPO profiles, compatible memory modules can be easily overclocked to 7200MHz and higher, maximising the entire system's data throughput.
Expansion slots and storage options
For installing a graphics card, there is one PCIe 4.0 ×16 slot, complemented by two PCIe 3.0 ×1 slots for other expansion cards. Storage space can be configured via four SATA III connectors and two M.2 slots. The primary Hyper M.2 slot uses the fast PCIe Gen4 ×4 interface with a transfer speed of up to 64Gb/s, while the second Ultra M.2 slot operates on a PCIe Gen3 ×4 interface. The board is also equipped with a dedicated M.2 Key E slot for easy installation of a Wi-Fi module.
Connectivity and network interface
Network connectivity is handled by a 2.5Gb Dragon LAN controller, which provides up to 2.5× more bandwidth than standard gigabit ethernet and guarantees low latency for online gaming. The HDMI 2.1 port, supporting 4K resolution at 60Hz, DisplayPort 1.4, and an analogue D-Sub connector provide video output from the processor's integrated graphics. The rear panel also offers USB ports of various generations, including USB 3.2 Gen1 Type-A and Type-C connectors.
