Performance parameters and power delivery

The motherboard uses an optimised VRM power solution with 20K black capacitors, offering an increased capacitance from the original 560µF to 1000µF. The higher capacitance ensures better charge accumulation under heavy loads, reduces voltage ripple, and provides a more stable output current. The ten-layer PCB with 2oz copper inner layers provides stable signal paths and power planes, resulting in lower temperatures and higher energy efficiency when overclocking. The board supports Intel 200S Boost via a BIOS update, which increases the performance of existing Intel Core Ultra processors.

Memory and storage options

Two DDR5 DIMM slots support dual-channel mode with overclocking up to 9866MHz thanks to Intel XMP and AMD EXPO profile support. The Memory OC Shield ensures stability during extreme memory overclocking. For storage, there are three M.2 slots. One Blazing M.2 with PCIe Gen5 x4 support offers a transfer speed of up to 128Gb/s, which is double that of the previous generation, and two Hyper M.2 slots with PCIe Gen4 x4 support, one of which also supports SATA3. All M.2 slots are equipped with extended XXL aluminium heatsinks for efficient heat dissipation and maintaining high SSD performance. The board also offers two SATA3 connectors and one PCIe 5.0 x16 slot for a graphics card.

Cooling and thermal management

Optimal thermal management is ensured by a composite VRM heatsink, which combines a cooling fan, a larger aluminium heatsink, and a heat pipe for maximum heat dissipation. All fan headers automatically detect whether fans are operating in DC or PWM mode, which allows for fine-tuning the fan speed curve and achieving quieter operation. There are connectors for a CPU fan, case fan, and AIO pump. The extended M.2 XXL aluminium heatsinks with captive screws effectively improve heat dissipation.
