A Brutal Gaming Machine - ROG Mothership
The ASUS ROG GZ700GX features an extraordinary 17.3" display, which, depending on the configuration, will offer up to 4K resolution and 144Hz response supported by NVIDIA G-SYNC technology. The display has an integrated stand for easy positioning. Detach and reposition the keyboard for your ideal gaming stance, or replace it with your favourite desktop peripherals. So you're not limited to using an ordinary laptop.
The Newest Hardware
Inside, the six-core Intel Core i9-8950HK swing base is overclocked up to 4.8 GHz. Up to 64GB of DDR4 or multiple SSD drives up to 8,700MB/s are available. The mobile version of the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 with 8GB of memory takes care of graphics. The cooling system with a set of eight heatpipes drains heat from the CPU, GPU, memory, and voltage regulator into four ribbed openings at the edges of the device.
Turn up the Hi-Res Audio
Redesigning the form factor lets ROG arrange four speakers of 16W along the front edge to fire high-quality sound directly at you. ROG Mothership’s audio is powered by a premium ESS Sabre HiFi DAC with Hi-Res Audio certification. The body also includes Thunderbolt 3, VirtualLink, three classic USB-A 3.1, one HDMI 2.0, an SD card reader, and RJ-45 network connector. The wireless part even deals with the new WiFi 802.11ax (WiFi 6) and Bluetooth 5 WiFi.
