Asetek Gen7 v2 pump
The cooling system is equipped with an Asetek Gen7 v2 pump featuring a three-phase motor for quieter and smoother operation. For better heat transfer from the processor, the pump has an improved copper cooling plate with optimised micro-channels. This technology increases thermal conductivity and helps maintain lower processor temperatures even under heavy load, contributing to stable system performance.
Fan performance
The radiator is cooled by three ROG STRIX AF-12S ARGB fans, which reach speeds of up to 2200rpm. This performance ensures efficient heat exchange between the coolant and the surrounding air. Each fan generates an airflow of 70.38CFM, which is sufficient for cooling high-performance Intel and AMD processors even during demanding tasks like gaming or working with professional applications.
High static pressure
The fans are designed to be effective even against the higher resistance posed by dense radiator fins. The high static pressure of 3.92mmH2O allows air to pass through the entire surface of the radiator and keep the coolant temperatures low. This feature is crucial for stable cooling performance as it ensures air flows directly through the fins, not just around the radiator.
Quiet operation with 0dB technology
When the processor is under low load and temperatures are below a set threshold, the fans automatically stop. The system actively monitors the CPU temperature and the fans only start when needed. 0dB technology ensures quiet operation during less demanding tasks, such as web browsing or working in office applications. This contributes to a quieter computer and extends the life of the fan bearings.
Flexible water block installation
The water block, featuring the ROG logo, has a 360-degree rotating design, which simplifies installation. The tubes can be routed as needed, regardless of the orientation of the motherboard and surrounding components. The top cover is magnetically attached, allowing you to easily adjust its position and quickly access the mounting screws, simplifying the entire process of fitting the cooler into the computer case.
Intel and AMD socket support
The cooler is compatible with a wide range of modern and older sockets from both Intel and AMD. The mounting kit included in the package contains everything needed for an easy installation on motherboards. It supports LGA 1150, 1151, 1155, 1156, 1200, 1700, and 1851 sockets for Intel Core processors, from mainstream to high-performance models.
