The ASUS RT-AX57 dual-band WiFi router works with the Wi-Fi 6 standard and transmits data at a total speed of up to 2,976Mbps. The device broadcasts a signal in two frequency bands, with four external antennas ensuring stable propagation throughout the space. The hardware, with 512MB of RAM and 256MB of flash memory, can handle high network loads in smart homes. Integrated technologies efficiently divide the wireless band among connected clients for smooth network operation. Users have three operating modes available, which include a standard router, access point and extender.

Network Speed and Standards
The device uses Wi-Fi 6 technology, which increases the overall capacity and speed of wireless transmission. Data flows through two separate bands, specifically the 2.4GHz band with speeds up to 574Mbps and the 5GHz band with speeds up to 2,402Mbps. Thanks to MU-MIMO and OFDMA technologies, the router communicates with multiple clients simultaneously without loss of speed. The BSS Colouring feature assigns its own colour tags to data packets, which prevents interference from neighbouring wireless networks and reduces the waiting time for a free channel.
AiMesh Technology for the WiFi Router
The router makes it easy to extend wireless coverage by connecting several compatible network elements into a single unit. The AiMesh system connects compatible routers into a single network with one name and password. Connected phones or tablets switch between access points themselves as they move around the house. In addition, Wi-Fi 6 technology extends the signal range by up to 80% compared to older standards.
WiFi Router Connectivity and Network Security
The router is equipped with four Gigabit LAN ports for connecting wired devices such as desktops, game consoles or TVs, and one dedicated WAN port for connecting to your provider's internet. The modern WPA3 security protocol encrypts transmitted data and strengthens protection on personal and corporate networks. The AiProtection Classic system detects infected devices in real time and blocks access to malicious websites. For a secure connection away from home, the Instant Guard mobile app creates a secure VPN tunnel through your home router when using public wireless networks. A stable power supply is provided by the included mains adapter.
