The ATLAS DEFENDER II HYBRID Ai CE2 chest protector is designed for motocross riders who want a high level of protection without compromising on comfort. The hybrid Ai™ construction combines a hard shell on the chest with soft and flexible Adapted Impact™ back protection, allowing for freedom of movement. The protector meets CE Level 2 certification, which doubles the impact absorption capability compared to the lower level. Thanks to adjustable straps and a multi-panel design, it adapts to the body. It can be worn both over and under a jersey.

Hybrid construction for protection and comfort

The ATLAS DEFENDER II protector uses a hybrid Ai™ construction that combines the advantages of two different materials for maximum safety and comfort. The front part consists of a hard shell providing full chest coverage, while the back is protected by a soft and flexible Adapted Impact™ panel. This combination ensures that the protector absorbs impact energy where it's needed most, while not restricting your freedom of movement. The multi-panel design actively adapts to the body and the wraparound front design provides extended protection for the ribs and sides.

CE Level 2 certification

Safety is proven by certification for both the chest and back, with both parts meeting standards EN 1621-3 and EN 1621-2. The protector achieves CE Level 2, which represents a significantly higher degree of protection than the standard Level 1. In practice, this means that it transmits less than 9kN of force on impact, whereas for Level 1 the value is up to 18kN. The impact absorption capability is therefore approximately double, increasing your safety on challenging terrain.

Easy adjustment and ventilation

The protector was designed with an emphasis on ease of use and individual customisation. The front fastening is handled by an easy-to-use clip. Thanks to the adjustable shoulder and waist straps, you can adjust the protector to fit your body perfectly, ensuring its stability. A sophisticated ventilation system takes care of airflow and cooling even under heavy strain. It also includes integrated elastic straps for easy and secure attachment of an Atlas neck brace.
