The Auraton Cetus thermostat with adjustable night setback is used to regulate the temperature in heating systems and works with gas or electric heating devices. The wired controller operates in a daily cycle and measures temperatures in the range of 0°C to 35°C. Users can set the desired temperature with an accuracy of 0.2°C and 0.4°C or use the PWM system. The integrated FrostGuard function protects the heating system from frost damage when the thermostat is switched off. The system maintains the room temperature above 2°C. The anti-freeze protection works completely independently and requires no user intervention. The IP20 protection rating defines its resistance to the ingress of solid foreign objects. The 90 × 90 × 36mm design is suitable for indoor installation.

Temperature regulation and economy mode settings
The device offers one temperature level and manual control for daily operation. Users can activate the night setback function, for which both the duration and the temperature reduction value can be set. The function repeats automatically at the same time every day and helps reduce energy consumption. Settings are adjusted using the buttons and the LCD display. Holiday mode lets you set a different temperature for a precisely defined period from 1 minute to 8 days. Power is supplied by two 1.5V AAA alkaline batteries. The backlit LCD display clearly shows the current operating status and battery level. The device works with a hysteresis of ±0.2°C, ±0.4°C or a PWM algorithm.
