Weekly programming
The device offers the option to set a different programme for each day of the week to match the household's daily rhythm. Users have a total of ten programmes available, seven of which can be individually customised. The system reliably adjusts the heating according to the time schedule and prevents unnecessary heating of empty rooms during the day. The temperature can be regulated in a range from 4°C to 30°C, which helps to maintain a stable indoor climate throughout the building.
Three temperature levels
The controller works with a comfort, economy and anti-freeze temperature. Within the weekly cycle, you can combine two of these temperatures for individual days, which form the day and night modes. The device measures the current values in the room and maintains the selected temperature range with high precision. Users can utilise an adjustable hysteresis of ±0.2°C or ±0.4°C and calibrate the measured temperature using the offset function in a range of ±3°C.
Colour display
The clear LCD display shows the current operating status, time, and measured room temperature. Users can choose from three backlight colours to suit their personal preferences. Outside the main heating season, the screen functions as a room thermometer and clock, so the device remains active all year round. The operating temperature of the controller itself ranges from 0°C to 45°C.
Holiday mode and timer
For longer absences, you can activate a specific holiday mode, which maintains a stable, economical temperature from 1 hour up to 99 days. An integrated counter also records the total operating time of the connected heating device. The system thus provides an accurate overview of heating and helps to analyse energy consumption. In winter, the system is protected against freezing by an adjustable anti-freeze temperature with a factory setting of 7°C.
Battery power for the thermostat
Power is supplied by two AA 1.5V alkaline batteries. When changing them, the user has a time reserve of up to 30 seconds, during which the device reliably retains all previously set parameters in its internal memory. A graphic indicator on the display gives timely warning of a low battery level, preventing the controller from suddenly switching off and interrupting control over the heating system.
Installation and compatibility
This controller replaces older versions AURATON 2025, 2005, 2000 or 091 and connects via a cable directly to the heat source. The wired connection ensures stable signal transmission without the risk of interference from nearby wireless appliances. The device works with a switched voltage of up to 230V and handles a maximum relay load of up to 8A at 250V AC. The IP20-rated construction is designed for wall mounting indoors.
