ASIST AR06-1001LI auto-darkening welding helmet, DIN 9–13, grinding function

The ASIST AR06-1001LI auto-darkening welding helmet is designed to protect your vision when welding with TIG, MIG, MMA, and MAG methods. Two integrated sensors ensure the filter darkens automatically within 0.0003 seconds of the arc being struck, and you can set the protection level from DIN 9–13. In addition to welding, you'll also appreciate the separate function designed for grinding. Power is supplied by a combination of a solar cell and a lithium battery, so the helmet is always ready to use.

Automatic Filter with a Fast Response

The core of the helmet is an auto-darkening filter that protects your vision. A pair of sensitive sensors detects the ignition of the welding arc and instantly, within 0.0003 seconds, darkens the visor to a preset level. You can seamlessly adjust the darkening level within the DIN 9–13 range according to the welding type and sensitivity. After the arc extinguishes, the filter lightens again, and you can set a delay between 0.1 and 0.8 seconds for a smooth transition between welds.

Grinding Mode and Constant Protection

The ASIST helmet isn't just for welding. A special grinding mode deactivates the auto-darkening function, so you can seamlessly switch from welding to grinding welds without having to remove the protection from your head. The visor remains permanently light at a DIN 4 level. Regardless of the selected mode, the filter provides permanent protection against UV/IR radiation at the DIN 16 level, protecting your eyes even if the automatic system were to fail. The flip-up visor also makes your work easier.

Durable Construction and Dual Power

The helmet shell is made of polypropylene, which resists mechanical damage. The adjustable headgear ensures comfortable wear even during long jobs, allowing you to fit it perfectly to your head. Power is supplied dually – the primary source is a solar cell that recharges the lithium battery, ensuring it is always ready for work. The filter's lifespan is extended by replaceable cover lenses that protect it from scratches and metal spatter.
