Mercasol 1 is a thin, solvent-based, well-penetrating anti-corrosive liquid based on wax, sulfonate and oil. The product has very good anti-corrosion properties for a long time. The wax dries and forms a brown, oily, moisture-repellent film. Mercasol 1 has been tested for compatibility with the most common corrosion protection systems on the market and is approved for use on most different vehicle brands. The product is approved according to SS 18 65 11 and a significant part of the composition of Mercasol 1 consists of renewable raw materials. Mercasol 1 is intended for use by private customers and small workshops for corrosion protection of cavities, flanges and joints on vehicles. Mercasol 1 can also be used as a primer on open surfaces in combination with Mercasol 3 and 3AL anticorrosive agents on the underbody.

Use:
The surfaces to be treated must be dry and free of rust, dirt, salt and oil. The litre bottle of Mercasol 1 is primarily designed for application with a pressure gun with accessories such as a cavity hose. Mercasol 1 spray is applied into the cavities using the attached nozzles or hose. The application is carried out indoors at temperatures of +15 to +25 °C. Drying time depends on temperature and humidity, at +23 °C and 50% relative humidity the drying time is approximately 8 hours. Under these conditions, Mercasol 1 must be allowed to air out for 1 hour before spraying with Mercasol 3 or Mercasol 3AL. The equipment is cleaned with aliphatic diesel. Stains and overspray should be removed with Mercasol or aliphatic diesel cleaner.
