AUSON NOXUDOL 3100 Soundproofing Spray 1000 ml

Vibration is the primary source of disruptive noise; Noxudol 3100 offers an effective and time-saving way to prevent the spread of structure-borne sound. The mixture has a proven high damping factor and approximately half the weight compared to traditional asphalt mats. In addition to its low weight, the mixture is easy to apply with a sprayer or brush . A dry film thickness of 2 mm can be achieved with one spray. Using Noxudol instead of a traditional silencer can reduce working time by up to 80%. The material is designed for metals and plastics with a thickness between 0.5-5.0 mm. The properties of Noxudol 3100 are highly valued in shipyards, train manufacturers, the automotive industry and other sectors.

Environmental Impact:
VOC = 0 g/l
Use:
Noxudol 3100 should only be applied to carefully cleaned surfaces. Untreated steel surfaces in humid environments and amphoteric metal surfaces, such as unalloyed aluminum, zinc, etc., which can react with the substrates, must be primed before treatment, to ensure good adhesion. Apply with a high-pressure pump (airless) 1:26>, spray gun or roller. When using a high-pressure pump, it is very important to turn off the pressure when not spraying. The maximum pressure interruption is 1 minute. After turning off, the pressure in the hose must also be relieved with a gun trigger; otherwise the material in the hose will compress and be very difficult to remove. The gun should be mounted in front, the hose should be wide enough and the needle as large as possible. To achieve effective resonance and noise reduction, apply a smooth dry film layer of 1.0–2.5 mm thickness, depending on the substrate. The thickness of the film will also affect the drying time, usually 6-8 hours at room temperature. At lower temperatures or high humidity, the drying time will be significantly longer. The product hardens in two steps. First, the water evaporates and then chemical curing occurs over the next 7-14 days, depending on the temperature. After the first step, evaporation, the film is dry, manageable and already has a sound insulation effect of around 80%. This effect increases during chemical curing. Only after the film has hardened (7-14 days) is Noxudol 3100 water and frost resistant and can then be painted with most paints. It is necessary to first carry out a practical test on a smaller area to make sure that the paste will withstand the paint.
