Key features of the CARMOTION rotary battery disconnector, 12/24 V, max. 300 A
- The battery disconnector is used to quickly disconnect power in vehicles

- Suitable also as a quick emergency disconnection of electricity in vehicles powered by 12 V and 24 V DC
Use:
1. Make sure the engine is switched off.
2. Find the poles of the battery (positive (+) and negative (-)).
3. The grounding switch will be connected to the negative (-) terminal of the battery.
4. Turn on the ground switch.
5. Check whether the ground switch has properly blocked the current flow. You can do this by trying to turn on the lights or the radio.
6. If you leave the vehicle unused for a long period of time, switch off the earth switch to prevent the battery from running down.
Notice:
Before installing or operating the earthing switch, make sure the vehicle is disconnected from the mains to avoid the risk of electric shock. Do not exceed the maximum forward current of 300 A, as the circuit breaker may be damaged. Do not use the earth switch to switch off the power when the battery is actively charging or the engine is running, as this could damage the vehicle's electrical system.
