CHELADE rust remover - corrosion stabilizer 1 l

CHELADE Rust Converter chemically stabilises rust on metal surfaces. The product converts corrosion into a stable primer, minimising the need for demanding mechanical surface preparation. After application, it creates a protective polymer barrier that is compatible with most common paints. Its water-based formula makes it suitable for treating cars, tools, and steel structures.

Simple application and visible results

The product is ready for immediate use without the need for dilution. Apply it directly to the corroded surface using a brush or roller. The ongoing chemical reaction is indicated by a change in colour of the treated area, which gradually turns from blue to black. This process signals that the corrosion has been successfully stabilised. Once dry, it forms a solid base for applying the final coat of paint. For optimal results, one litre provides a coverage of approximately 8m², depending on the condition of the surface.

Apply at a temperature above 10°C. Before applying the top coat, let the surface dry for at least 24 hours at 20°C and a relative humidity below 80%.
