The Marine & Caravan model is a traction battery designed especially for less demanding applications that do not exceed about 50 cycles during the year. It is based on the principle of conventional flooded batteries well known in the car battery. They are similar in size and have identical contacts of identical dimensions. However, they are excellent technologies used to produce lead-acid electrodes inside cells. In contrast to conventional starter batteries, the traction advantage is still in the form of reinforced electrode grilles, thus achieving higher resilience when recharging.

Long life with maintenance-free system

Duracell Marine & Caravanj car batteries have a maintenance-free system with calcium technology. If required, they are equipped with plugs for eventual extraction of distilled water. The life of this traction battery is approximately 300 cycles when discharged to 50% of capacity (conventional batteries have a life of 80-100 cycles). The battery is in no way intended for industrial use.
