The OTL250-12 gel traction battery, 12V, 250Ah from the OTL - DEEP CYCLE series is manufactured based on GOOWEI ENERGY's many years of experience in the battery field. The emphasis is on the high quality of the materials used (lead purity), long cycle life (extra-strong cell grids) and maximum reliability and safety in operation. It is a sealed lead-acid battery with a VRLA design. The electrolyte is thickened in a hybrid gel (a combination with AGM), which binds it firmly inside the battery cells, preventing any leakage thanks to the hybrid GEL technology. The extra-strong cell grid ensures high cyclical resistance, making the battery ideal for applications where frequent and deep discharging/cycling occurs.

It is particularly suitable where there are frequent power outages or where the batteries are deeply discharged. The optimal lifespan for 'STAND BY' mode is stated as 10–12 years, which corresponds to the 'LONG LIFE' series of stationary batteries.

The DEEP CYCLE GOOWEI ENERGY OTL250-12, 12V, 250Ah battery is primarily intended for powering electric motors in golf carts, fishing boats, and other equipment; motorhomes, caravans, trailers, and external power sources; boats and sailboats for both the electric motor and powering on-board appliances; solar equipment for cyclical charging and discharging; mobile traffic control systems, traffic lights, and warning signs; electric motors for e-bikes, e-scooters, and similar equipment and toys; children's scooters, ride-ons, and mini-motorbikes. It can also be used for wheelchairs or high-load or industrial applications, but the battery life will be shorter than that of batteries designed by the manufacturer for these purposes.

Please note:
To achieve the optimal lifespan of batteries in cyclical operation, it is necessary to respect the maximum permitted depth of discharge of 80% D.O.D. specified by the ČSN EN61044 standard. For applications where batteries are connected in series, it is recommended to include a protective element – a BALANCER – which ensures a balance of voltage between the individual batteries. Including this element prevents damage to the batteries and also extends their life!
