The OTL35-12, 12V, 35Ah gel traction battery from the OTL - DEEP CYCLE series is manufactured based on GOOWEI ENERGY's many years of experience in the battery field. The emphasis is on the high quality of the materials used (lead purity), long cycle life (extra-strong cell grids), and maximum reliability and safety in operation. It is a sealed lead-acid battery with VRLA design. The electrolyte is solidified in a hybrid gel (a combination with AGM), which means it is firmly bound inside the battery cells, thus preventing leakage thanks to the hybrid GEL technology. The extra-strong cell grid ensures high cyclic durability, making the battery ideal for applications where frequent and deep discharging/cycling occurs.

It is particularly suitable where there are frequent power outages or where batteries are deeply discharged. The optimal lifespan for "STAND BY" mode is stated as 10–12 years, which corresponds to the "LONG LIFE" series of stationary batteries.

The DEEP CYCLE GOOWEI ENERGY OTL35-12, 12V, 35Ah battery is primarily intended for powering electric motors in golf carts, fishing boats and other equipment, motorhomes, caravans, trailers and external power sources, ships, boats and sailing boats for both the electric motor and powering on-board appliances, solar systems for cyclic charging and discharging, mobile traffic control systems, traffic lights and warning signs, electric motors for e-bikes, e-scooters and similar equipment and toys, children's scooters, ride-ons and children's mini motorbikes. It can also be used for wheelchairs or high-load or industrial applications, but the battery life is shorter than that of batteries designed by the manufacturer for these purposes.

Warning:
To achieve the optimal lifespan of batteries in cyclic operation, it is necessary to respect the maximum permitted depth of discharge of 80% D.O.D. specified by the ČSN EN61044 standard. For applications where batteries are connected in series, it is recommended to include a protective element - a BALANCER, which will ensure voltage balance between the individual batteries. Including this element prevents damage to the batteries and extends their lifespan!
