The OTL85-12, 12V, 85Ah gel traction battery from the OTL - DEEP CYCLE series is manufactured based on long-term experience of the GOOWEI ENERGY brand in the battery field. Emphasis is placed on the high quality of materials used (purity of lead), long cyclic life (extra strong cell grids) and maximum reliability and safety of the accumulator in operation. This is a sealed VRLA lead-acid battery. The electrolyte is solidified in a hybrid gel (combined with AGM), and is thus firmly bound inside the battery cells, which eliminates leakage due to hybrid GEL technology. The extra strong cell grid ensures high cyclic resistance, which makes the battery ideal for applications involving frequent and deep discharging/cycling.

Long life and reliable backup operation
The DEEP CYCLE GOOWEI ENERGY OTL85-12, 12V, 85Ah battery is also suitable for stationary applications, where it serves as a backup power source in "STAND BY" mode. It is particularly suitable where frequent power outages occur or where batteries discharge deeply. The optimal lifespan for "STAND BY" mode is stated as 10–12 years, which corresponds to the "LONG LIFE" category of stationary batteries.

The DEEP CYCLE GOOWEI ENERGY OTL85-12, 12V, 85Ah battery is primarily designed to power electric motors in golf buggies, fishing boats and other equipment, motorhomes, caravans, trailers and external power sources, boats and yachts for both the electric motor and powering onboard appliances, solar systems for cyclic charging and discharging, mobile traffic control systems, traffic lights and warning signs, electric motors for e-bikes, e-scooters and similar devices and toys, children's scooters, ride-on toys, and children's mini motorbikes. It can also be used for wheelchairs or high-load and industrial applications, although the battery lifespan is shorter than with batteries designed for these purposes by the manufacturer.

To achieve optimal battery life in cyclic operation, respect the maximum permitted depth of discharge of 80% D.O.D. specified by the ČSN EN61044 standard. For applications where batteries are connected in series, we recommend using a protective element - BALANCER, which ensures voltage balance between individual batteries. Using this element prevents battery damage and extends their lifespan!
