Metabond Petrol DETOX, 250ml

Cleans the fuel system and optimises combustion

Metabond Petrol Detox petrol engine regenerator is a high-quality product that optimises combustion, cleans injectors and the turbo, and removes deposits from the entire fuel system, including old and new injectors, valves, the combustion chamber, EGR and catalytic converter. It has a beneficial effect in several areas, ensuring sufficient lubrication for the fuel pump despite low-sulphur fuel. The additive is a highly concentrated and effective agent for solving all deposit-related problems in petrol engines, especially in GDI direct injection engines.

Use:
Before refuelling with 40–50 litres of petrol, pour a full bottle (250ml) of Metabond Petrol DETOX into a nearly empty fuel tank with no other additives. For motorbikes and garden equipment, use a ratio of 6ml/1 litre of petrol. Then drive for at least 20–30 minutes, preferably at increased speed and revs (>4000). However, the effect is not critical, as these machines do not usually have sensitive injectors, particulate filters or exhaust systems. For optimal results, repeat the 20–30 minute cycle at high revs several times before refuelling. The Metabond Petrol DETOX treatment should be repeated every 8000–10000 km, depending on the engine's condition or the quality of the fuel used. One bottle (250ml) of Metabond Petrol DETOX contains enough additive for 40–50 litres of petrol. Significant overdosing is not recommended. Metabond Petrol DETOX can be used for all petrol engines (naturally aspirated, turbocharged, with FSI, GDI direct injection) that run on leaded or unleaded petrol. It does not damage but cleans and protects the catalytic converter and turbocharger. It cannot be used for fuels with an ethanol content higher than 70%. Using Megasel/Megalene together with Metabond Petrol DETOX is strongly recommended, as their effects mutually reinforce each other. Other additives can be used at the same time – for example, a particulate filter cleaner (Metabond DPFCC).
