The PREXIM tyre pressure monitoring system is designed for passenger cars and light commercial vehicles. The system continuously monitors tyre pressure and temperature, warning the driver if a dangerous situation arises. Pressure monitoring also functions when the car is parked. The system consists of a receiver, located in the car's cabin, and the corresponding number of sensors, mounted on each wheel. The sensors are equipped with a battery-powered transmitter. The receiver collects information about the temperature and pressure in all wheels, evaluates it instantly, and alerts the driver if necessary.
