Sixtol Mechanic Brake Bleeding set

With the practical MECHANIC BRAKE BLEEDING SET 8 you can change brake fluid at home. Brake fluid has the ability to absorb moisture in the air, lowering its boiling point and adversely changing its operating characteristics. When its boiling point drops (greater than 230 °C for a new fluid), high temperatures are generated during prolonged braking and the fluid, which has even the slightest water content, turns to steam. The resulting vapour is compressible and thus reduces the effects of the brake fluid.

Use:
Remove the wheel where you plan to vent. Open the fluid in the brake fluid reservoir and top it up if necessary. Start at the furthest point from the brake fluid reservoir (usually the rear right wheel) and work your way to the nearest point (front left wheel). A helper in the cab slowly presses the brake pedal and keeps it depressed. At this point, loosen the bolt or valve on the bleeder valve of the brake caliper or cylinder unit. When the brake fluid starts to flow without air bubbles, tighten the screw or valve and stop pressing the pedal. Repeat the procedure until you are sure that all the air has been removed. Make sure that the fluid in the tank remains at the same level. After bleeding the brakes, check the brake pedal to make sure there are no braking problems. Alternatively, a test drive can be carried out in a safe place.
Warning:
It is recommended to change the brake fluid every 1 to 3 years, or according to the degrees measured - from 181 °C and above no change is necessary, 171 to 180 °C change is recommended, 170 °C and below change is necessary!
