BatteryProtect disconnects the battery from insignificant loads before the battery is fully discharged (which would destroy the battery) or while it still has enough capacity to start the engine.

Automatic 12/24V setting - BatteryProtect automatically detects the voltage in the system.

Easily programmable - Smart BatteryProtect can be set to any desired level via the Bluetooth interface. You can also select one of nine preset on/off levels using the programming pin.

Special setting for Li-ion batteries - In this mode, BatteryProtect can be controlled via the VE bus. Bus BMS.

Very Low Power Consumption - Low power consumption is very important for Li-ion batteries, especially when switched off at low voltage.

Overvoltage protection - In case of overvoltage resulting in possible damage to sensitive devices, the devices are disconnected if the DC voltage exceeds 16 V or 32 V.

Spark resistant - Does not work with relay elements but with MOSFET transistor switches, no sparking.

Delayed Alarm Output - The alarm output is activated if the battery voltage drops below the set value for more than 12 seconds. Starting the engine, therefore the alarm does not activate. The alarm output is an open collector output on the negative bus, max. current 50 mA. The alarm output is typically connected to a buzzer or to a light signal.

Delayed Load Disconnect - The load is disconnected 90 seconds after the alarm has been triggered. If during this time the battery voltage rises to the "connection threshold" level (e.g. during engine start), the load will not be disconnected.
