YATO MMA welding inverter 140A YT-81355

The YATO YT-81355 inverter welder is based on the latest generation of IGBT transistors. It uses a breakthrough solution in the welding technology market in the form of a specially designed microprocessor that independently controls the entire welding process. The reduction of logic circuits and the original method of sampling the welding current not only reduces the failure rate of the equipment, but above all greatly facilitates the welding process itself. The ease of obtaining a high-quality weld is appreciated by both experts and people with little experience. The microprocessor is based on ARM4 architecture, uses 55nm technology and runs at 200 MHz in 32-bit architecture. It can drive the latest generation of transistors at speeds up to 70 kHz, nearly twice as fast as comparable devices. It has a patented solution for analysing welding parameters at a speed of approximately 200 million times per second. Eliminates the need to install additional systems for functions such as ARC FORCE, ANTI STICK or HOT START. Thanks to the absence of additional systems, the influence of interference from current transformation on the welding quality is minimal and virtually imperceptible to the user.

Antistick

Disconnects the welding current when the electrode short-circuits, which allows separation of the electrode from the material to be welded.

VRD

The VRD function reduces the no-load voltage from approximately 60 V to a level that is safe for humans. Despite the significant impact on security, this feature is often disabled by users. The reason for this is the difficulty in hitting the arc, especially for people with little experience. Most inverter welders measure the output current using analogue sensors, which in short increases the response time and consequently makes it more difficult to ignite the arc. The microprocessor in the YT-81355 does it differently. In a welding circuit, the current generates a waveform with a frequency of approximately 200 MHz. It examines in real time the waveform deformations that change depending on the welding stage. In a fraction of a second the moment when the electrode touches the element to be welded is detected, then the VRD function is switched off and HOT START starts at the same time. There is no problem with arc ignition. The YT-81355 has the VRD function permanently enabled.

Overload and overtemperature protection (fan on request)

The microprocessor in the YT-81355 monitors the temperature of critical components in real time. Depending on the temperature, it first controls the fan speed, but when the temperature reaches too high values, the microprocessor continuously reduces the output current, allowing the electrode to be fired or the weld to be terminated in a controlled manner. In most welding machines on the market, the moment of overheating means that the welding current is immediately switched off, which often results in the need to make mechanical corrections to the elements being welded. This problem does not occur on the YT-81355.
