How to keep your battery in good condition
The battery comes partially charged from the factory, but its capacity and performance have not yet reached 100%. Therefore, for optimal calibration, we recommend repeating a full charge and discharge cycle at least 3× right at the start. Constantly keeping your device plugged into a power source reduces battery capacity, so we recommend unplugging it from the mains from time to time. If you are not using the battery, store it charged in a dry place, and check and recharge it approximately every six months.
What harms batteries
One of the most common causes of battery degradation is leaving it completely discharged and unused for a long time. Do not expose the battery to temperatures above 60°C. If the battery is exposed to temperatures below 5°C, only charge it once it reaches room temperature. Only use the battery in devices for which it is designed. Also, make sure the battery is not subjected to short circuits or high discharge currents. Protect it from mechanical damage, chemical agents and moisture.
