The AXAGON EE25-GTR RIBBED external aluminium enclosure with a USB-C 10 Gbps interface, designed for 2.5" SATA hard drives or SSDs. A reliable connection to your computer is ensured by the reversible USB-C connector on the enclosure, together with the supplied USB-C <-> USB-A cable and USB-A -> USB-C adapter. Thanks to the fast USB 3.2 Gen 2 interface with a transfer speed of up to 10 Gb/s, the speed of 2.5" SSDs is not limited. Compared to standard enclosures with a USB 3.2 Gen 1 (USB 3.0) interface, the transfer speed of this SSD enclosure is approximately 20 per cent higher. Support for the UASP function for faster data transfer and the TRIM function to limit the gradual degradation of SSD performance over time. Reading of S.M.A.R.T. information to monitor the condition of the external drive. Support for putting both the connected drive and the enclosure into sleep mode.
