The AXAGON HMC-12GM2 GEN2COMBO 12-in-1 multiport USB-C 10Gbps hub adds eleven ports and an external M.2 drive bay to your laptop, computer, or phone. Thanks to the reversible USB-C connector, you can quickly and easily connect up to two monitors, four USB devices, a Gigabit Ethernet network, headphones, an SD card reader, and an NVMe or SATA M.2 SSD to your computer. You also get the ability to power your laptop using Power Delivery technology. The USB-C hub can thus serve as a simple, compact 12-in-1 docking station for a laptop such as an Apple MacBook Air or Pro. The USB hub offers three USB outputs with a standard USB-A connector. Two with a speed of 5Gbps and a third with a speed of 10Gbps for more demanding devices. It also offers a USB-C 10Gbps data connector. The hub can also handle the permanent connection of two external drives simultaneously. Thanks to the fast USB 3.2 Gen 2 interface, the transfer speed of the hub is up to 10Gb/s.

Power and Video Outputs
The second USB-C connector is only for charging phones or laptops using Power Delivery 3.0 technology with a power of up to 100W. You connect a suitable USB-C Power Delivery charger to the hub and connect the hub to a laptop with Power Delivery support. This frees up one USB-C port. The HDMI and DisplayPort outputs provide high-quality video. Whether used individually or simultaneously, the ports offer resolutions of up to 4K/60Hz Ultra HD and support multi-channel audio transmission. High refresh rates in popular gaming resolutions like 2K/144Hz or FullHD/240Hz are also supported. With support for HDR (High Dynamic Range), you can enjoy a significantly expanded range of colours and contrast without limitations. For the video outputs to function correctly, the laptop must have a USB-C port with DisplayPort Alternate Mode (DP Alt Mode) support or a Thunderbolt 3 port or higher.
Storage, Network, and Card Reader
You can connect an NVMe or SATA M.2 SSD thanks to the built-in slot on the back. This turns the multiport hub into an external drive. The M.2 cards can be single-sided or double-sided with dimensions of 22×42mm and 22×80mm. The external M.2 storage has no capacity limit for SSDs and supports modern features such as TRIM, UASP, and allows for reading S.M.A.R.T. information that monitors the drive's condition. The Gigabit network card extends the computer with a fast and stable network connection, adds a missing RJ-45 Ethernet network connector, or adds another network card. The card reader supports all versions of SD and microSD cards, including SDXC and microSDXC with capacities up to 2TB. Thanks to the high-speed USB interface, you can make the most of the potential of modern memory cards. The card reader allows simultaneous work with cards in both slots and direct copying between them.
Construction, Cooling, and Connectivity
The elegant aluminium body ensures not only mechanical durability but also passive cooling. The integrated, silent fan takes care of active cooling, cooling both the M.2 drive and the hub body itself. The finely textured surface ensures that no fingerprints are left on the hub. The port replicator is an ideal accessory for laptops that lack USB connectors, memory, or video outputs. The 50cm USB-C cable is detachable and can be replaced with a longer cable if needed. Thanks to the hub, you can use your existing USB peripherals without having to buy new ones. With Plug and Play and Hot Plug features, connecting the hub is very simple without complex installation, and you can also easily connect and disconnect peripherals while the computer is running. The hub also allows connection to phones with a USB-C connector. For example, you can easily connect a flash drive, keyboard, mouse, monitor, TV, or projector to your phone.
