The BACHMANN power strip is a three-phase power distribution unit designed for 19" rack installation, where it occupies 1U of space. It powers rack-mounted equipment through six C19 outlet sockets. These are split into three separate segments to balance the load. Designed for a total current of 3×16A, the panel features integrated locks to prevent accidental disconnection of power cables.

Rack-mount construction
The aluminium body provides strength while keeping the weight down to 1555g. The package includes two mounting brackets and 8 screws for easy installation in any 19" rack. The 1U design saves valuable rack space.
Load distribution
The six C19 sockets are split into three segments of two. Each segment connects to one of the three phases, which are colour-coded in red, black, and grey. This layout simplifies symmetrical load distribution and helps prevent individual phases from overloading.
Three-phase connection
The panel connects to the mains via an industrial IEC 60309 plug (3×16A/400V). The permanently attached H05VV-F cable is 3 metres long with a conductor cross-section of 2.5mm², making the panel ideal for powering rack-mounted equipment.
