The BACHMANN BN ESSENTIAL three-phase vertical socket strip is designed for installation in large control cabinets and server racks. It features 30 output sockets in total, divided into three groups: 24× C13 and 6× C19. The key feature is the overall measurement of fundamental electrical values on individual phases. An integrated web server lets you monitor values locally on the display and remotely via a computer network.

Remote management and consumption monitoring
The unit provides an overview of energy consumption via its integrated web server. Once connected to the network, you can monitor measured values remotely from any computer. The measuring unit is also replaceable. For management and communication, it supports a range of network protocols, including HTTP, HTTPS, SNMPv2/v3, SSH, and Telnet, allowing seamless integration into existing monitoring systems.
Connectivity and expansion options
In addition to power outputs, the unit is equipped with other ports for expanded functionality. It features two RJ45 ports for network connection. Two RJ12 connectors serve for connecting external sensors. A USB Type-A port is also included.
Design and power supply
Weighing 3.17kg, the body of the unit is made of aluminium, providing strength and durability. Connection is provided by a 3m H05VV-F cable with a conductor cross-section of 2.5mm². The unit is designed for a three-phase power supply with a voltage of up to 400V and a total current of 3× 16A. Individual segments handle a load of 16A, with each C13 socket rated at 10A.
Installation and local control
The vertical design of the unit is ideal for saving space in large server racks. The package also includes brackets to make the installation process easy. To check status and measured values directly on site, use the backlit 2" TFT screen, operated via four buttons. The measuring unit itself measures 4.3×12.65×4.2cm.
