The Citizen AT9030-55L men's watch combines a steel construction with advanced technologies. Thanks to the solar-powered Citizen Eco-Drive, it never needs a battery change, drawing its energy from light. Precision is guaranteed by radio-controlled time, which automatically synchronises with the signal from atomic clocks. The case and strap are made of stainless steel, and the dial is protected by a highly durable sapphire crystal. With a water resistance of 200m, the watch is also suitable for swimming and diving without breathing apparatus.

Solar power and radio-controlled time

The watch is powered by Citizen Eco-Drive technology, which converts any light source into energy and stores it in a rechargeable cell. When fully charged, it has a power reserve of up to 6 months, and an alert function notifies you when it needs recharging. Precise radio-controlled time is maintained by automatic signal reception from transmitters in Europe (DCF), the USA (WWVB), Japan (JJY), and China (BPC). This means the watch always displays the correct time and automatically adjusts for daylight saving.

Durable construction and advanced features

The case and bracelet are made from stainless steel, complemented by a highly scratch-resistant sapphire crystal. The watch is equipped with a shock detection function, which instantly locks the hands in the event of an impact and then automatically returns them to the correct position. The movement is also protected against the influence of magnetic fields. For travellers, there are world time and dual time functions, letting you track the time in two different time zones simultaneously.
