Beldimet contains the medicinal substance dimetindene maleate, which belongs to the group of antihistamines. Beldimet is used for short-term relief of itching in dermatoses (itchy skin diseases) such as skin rashes and urticaria, insect bites, sunburn and first-degree superficial burns (reddening of the skin).
Beldimet reduces itching by blocking the effect of histamine, which is released by the body during an allergic reaction. After passing the gel through the skin, itching and irritation is relieved within minutes. The preparation also has a local anesthetic effect.

💊 Use

Apply the gel to the affected skin area 2-4 times a day. The product may only be used on intact skin. Wash your hands after applying the gel (unless you are applying the gel to the affected skin of your hands). If symptoms worsen or do not improve within 3 days, consult your doctor. Do not use for more than 7 days without consulting your doctor.

🍃 Ingredients

The active substance is dimetindene maleate. One gram of gel contains dimetindeni maleas 1 mg. Other ingredients are carbomer, disodium edetate, sodium hydroxide (E524), propylene glycol (E1520), benzalkonium chloride and purified water.

⚠️️ Warning

Children:
In infants and young children, avoid using Beldimet on large areas of skin, especially if there are open and inflamed wounds.
Pregnancy and breastfeeding:
If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, you think, that you might be pregnant, or you're planning to get pregnant, check with your doctor or pharmacist first, before using this product. Do not apply Beldimet to large areas of skin during pregnancy and breastfeeding, especially if there are open and inflamed wounds. If you are breastfeeding, do not use this product on the breasts, including the nipples.
Read the package leaflet carefully before taking the medicine. Do not exceed the recommended dosage. Keep out of reach of children. In case of side effects, contact your doctor or pharmacist.

📦 Storage

This medicinal product does not require any special temperature storage conditions. Keep it in its original packaging to protect the product from light. Keep this product out of sight and reach of children. After first opening, the product may be used until the expiry date indicated on the packaging. Do not use this product after the expiry date stated on the box and tube after EXP. The expiry date shall be the last day of the month indicated.
