Betadine is a disinfectant that destroys a number of pathogens (antimicrobial effect) and is suitable for hygienic and pre-operative hand disinfection. It acts on bacteria, fungi, viruses and protozoa. The product is used for hygienic hand disinfection and pre-operative hand disinfection.
Dosage and method of use
Always use this medicine exactly as directed in the package insert or by your doctor or pharmacist. Betadine is always used concentrated, it is not diluted before use.
Contraindications
Do not use Betadine if you are allergic to povidone iodide or to any of the other ingredients in this product. The product is not intended for use in children. Read the package insert carefully.

Storage
Store at temperatures up to 25 °C, in the original packaging to protect the product from light. Do not use this product after the expiry date stated on the box after EXP. Ask your pharmacist how to dispose of products you no longer use. These measures help protect the environment.
