Višňovka, from the liqueur maker Pavel Cerman, is made from pure concentrated juice of sour cherries. These have a soft pulp and a strongly coloured, aromatic juice that flows out on its own after destemming. The aroma of the sour cherry liqueur is medium-intense, and the taste is beautifully juicy, full-bodied, and refreshing. Peppermint liqueur is a staple that Czechs adore, and when they love something, there's no compromising on quality. The base is an extra-fine spirit from South Bohemia, in which peppermint leaves are macerated. Spices are then gradually added to the maceration – we chose the very interesting coriander – and it's sweetened just right. The result is a superb, purely natural liqueur that combines the freshness of mint and the magic of spices in a very smooth and pleasant liqueur. The base of the devil's kiss liqueur is sour cherry juice combined with a very high-quality, extra-fine spirit, complemented by a domestic rum flavour, but perfectly balanced with real white Caribbean rum. And finally, a pinch of chilli peppers provides a pleasant warmth, creating a delightful aftertaste. ČERT (Devil) is a traditional Czech liqueur that is not often seen anymore, though you might find it in some pubs where they mix domestic rum with cherry liqueur. But the very essence of the devil's kiss is about warmth, a devilish flame.
