Spacious cooking without limits
Need a larger area for oversized cookware? The CombiZone function lets you combine two cooking zones into one large one, so you can comfortably use roasting tins, large pots, or grill pans. More flexibility, more possibilities.
Smart Hood Automatic
The extractor hood now takes care of everything itself. By connecting to your Home Connect account, it automatically adjusts its power based on the hob's current settings. This lets you focus solely on your cooking – without distracting fumes or fingerprints on the hood's control panel.
Favourite button
Save a frequently used combination of settings, such as power level and timer, under the Favourite button. By connecting to the Home Connect app, you can also control the extractor hood light. Ideal for daily routines and your most cherished recipes.
Remote diagnostics – fast help from a distance
If you have a problem with your appliance, remote diagnostics saves you time and worry. Simply contact the Home Connect customer helpline, and with your permission, a service technician can access your appliance's system over the internet, identify the problem, and offer a quick solution – often without needing a home visit.
Elegant design of the BOSCH PVW831HB1E Serie 6 hob that stands out
The minimalist look with a delicate front bevel highlights the hob's sophisticated design. It fits perfectly into any modern kitchen, creating a clean and timeless feel.
PowerBoost for fast cooking
The practical PowerBoost function ensures exceptionally fast water heating. Use it, for example, to bring a large amount of water to the boil. It speeds up heating by almost 35% compared to the highest power level.
Pause function
Something interrupted you mid-cooking? Simply activate the Pause function, which temporarily locks the controls and pauses heating. When you return, just pick up where you left off – for up to 10 minutes.
QuickStart function
The QuickStart function detects where you have placed the cookware on the hob and automatically displays the cooking zone on the BOSCH PVW831HB1E Serie 6 control panel. This lets you start cooking immediately without unnecessary delay.
ReStart function
When the hob is switched off, the last settings are saved in its memory for a short time. If you switch the BOSCH PVW831HB1E Serie 6 hob on again shortly afterwards, the original settings are still available. What's more, the hob switches itself off if your food boils over or if something spills on the surface.
Timer with switch-off function
The assigned cooking zone automatically switches off after the set time has elapsed. Simply leave the tedious tasks to your hob.
Maximum safety
A practical child lock ensures the safety of you and your children by preventing your little ones from switching the hob on.
Induction cooking – faster and more economical
The advantage of induction hobs is that they only generate heat where it's needed. This makes induction hobs safer to use – you won't burn your hands. The BOSCH PVW831HB1E Serie 6 induction hob is also more energy-efficient. For example, it brings two litres of water to the boil twice as fast as a ceramic hob.
