Favourite
You can save your favourite programme as a combination of your most-used programme and an additional function.
Automatic door opening after the programme ends
Unloading dishes that are not completely dry or are still too hot can be a nuisance. With the EfficientDry function, the dishwasher door opens automatically at the end of the wash cycle, a very practical solution that improves the drying process. It also prevents steam condensation and gently cools the dishes, so you can put them straight on the shelves without having to wipe them down. What's more, this technology also saves you energy.
Hygienically tested BOSCH dishwasher
In a BOSCH dishwasher, viruses like coronavirus or influenza are effectively eliminated even on the Eco 50°C programme, as tested by the Institute for Integrative Hygiene and Virology (Hygiene Level 1 label). An even higher level of hygiene can be achieved by using higher temperature programmes in your BOSCH dishwasher, which are effective against more resistant viruses, including enveloped and non-enveloped ones. The Intensive 70°C programme and the Machine Care maintenance programme on BOSCH dishwashers meet these criteria (Hygiene Level 3 label).
Flexible dish loading
Bosch basket systems adapt perfectly to all your needs, providing exceptional stability and innovative use of space. Thanks to folding tines and plate racks, they can even accommodate bulky items, including pots and pans. The top basket is also height-adjustable. If you need even more space, the BOSCH SMH4EVX08E dishwasher is equipped with a pull-out VarioDrawer cutlery tray, which adds an extra loading level at the top of the dishwasher. This makes loading the dishwasher much easier and increases its capacity. It's the ideal place for cutlery and small kitchen utensils like ladles, whisks, or espresso cups. This drawer replaces the cutlery basket in the lower rack, leaving you more space at the bottom of the dishwasher.
Control your Bosch dishwasher from anywhere
Enjoy a smart home. Using Home Connect technology, you can control your BOSCH SMH4EVX08E dishwasher from anywhere using a mobile app. Conveniently set the washing programme, use remote appliance diagnostics or get recommendations for the right programme for your dishes. The app also features a tablet counter, so you won't forget to buy new tablets. For an enhanced user experience, the app includes notifications that inform you, for example, when the dishwasher has finished. Thanks to its compatibility with Amazon Alexa, you can even control the dishwasher with your voice.
Favourite programme at the touch of a button
Save a combination of your most-used programme and additional function. The selected setting can be started at any time with a single touch.
ActiveWater technology
We designed the ActiveWater system to wash dishes thoroughly while minimising resource consumption. Instead of just using more water, it uses it more efficiently. With targeted spraying, rapid circulation, and advanced filtration, our dishwashers achieve hygienically clean and sparkling dishes. This efficient design allows us to achieve these results with less water, and therefore less energy to heat it.
Quiet operation
SilentPowerDrive dishwashers provide efficient washing at a low noise level. They feature a brushless motor designed for energy-efficient operation. The motor helps to reduce frictional noise and contributes to the smooth and quiet running of the appliance.
Unleash the full power of detergents
Correct detergent dosage is important for an optimal wash result. The DosageAssist on the BOSCH SMH4EVX08E dishwasher ensures that the detergent dissolves completely in a special collection tray at the top of the basket. Using a targeted stream of water, the detergent is used evenly, controlledly and quickly throughout the dishwasher. This results in a more efficient and quieter wash.
InfoLight status indicator
Instead of a traditional panel, the BOSCH SMH4EVX08E dishwasher has a special InfoLight status indicator in the form of a red light projected onto the floor. This solution ensures that the dishwasher's smooth and modern design is not disrupted. The light tells you exactly whether the dishwasher is still running or ready to be unloaded.
Vario hinges
Built-in dishwashers used to have visible gaps between the door and the cabinet. Thanks to the VarioHinge innovation, this is no longer the case! The door lifts gently as you open it, so the dishwasher blends in perfectly with your kitchen units.
AquaStop protection against water damage
Every Bosch appliance undergoes precise checks according to strictly defined quality, performance and sustainability standards. All Bosch dishwashers have the AquaStop system and a lifetime guarantee against water damage, as well as a ten-year guarantee against rusting of the inner casing of the dishwasher. *
