The BOT ZWL2 Zigbee smart water leak sensor provides a solution for monitoring the presence of water in indoor spaces. The detector reacts to contact with liquid even at a very low water level, which helps to prevent damage caused by water accidents. When a leak is detected, the detector immediately triggers a local acoustic alarm and sends a push notification to the user's mobile phone. Two AAA batteries provide power and the white plastic cover has an IP20 rating.

Quick warning in case of an accident
Upon contact with water, the BOT water leak detector triggers an integrated siren with a volume exceeding 90dB. This acoustic alarm alerts people in the building without them needing to check their phone. At the same time, the system sends a notification via the mobile app directly to a smartphone with Android or iOS. The user receives information about the accident in real time, even when away from home.
Wireless connection via the Zigbee protocol
The device uses the wireless Zigbee protocol for communication, which requires a connection via a compatible central unit, or bridge. This technology ensures high signal transmission stability with a range of up to 90m in open spaces. The wireless transmission has very low power consumption requirements, which extends the replacement intervals for batteries within the smart home.
Easy management in the Tuya app
The BOT ZWL2 Zigbee smart water leak sensor works with the Tuya Smart and Smart Life mobile apps. In the interface of these applications, you can conveniently monitor the history of all recorded incidents and manage settings. The system supports Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant and SmartThings voice assistants. The application environment is available in Czech, Slovak or English, which simplifies parameter configuration.
Long life and easy power supply
The entire device is powered by two AAA batteries, which are inserted directly into the body of the sensor. Thanks to the energy-efficient Zigbee communication protocol, the batteries power the sensor for a long time without the need for frequent replacement. Replacing the dead batteries is done by manually opening the plastic cover.
Flexible placement in risk zones
The sensor, measuring 63×48×14mm and weighing 0.046kg, is designed to be placed freely on the floor under a washing machine, sink, dishwasher or near pipes. For installation, you can also use the practical magnetic attachment to fix it to metal surfaces. The technical solution includes a 1m extension cable, which extends the installation options for the detection part to less accessible places under the kitchen unit.
Operating limits indoors
The white plastic sensor with an IP20 rating is intended exclusively for indoor use and is not designed for permanent exposure to extreme humidity. The device operates reliably in a temperature range of -10°C to 50°C. The operating environmental humidity must be between 0% and 95% relative humidity, which corresponds to standard conditions in bathrooms, kitchens or utility rooms.
