BrainMax Iron Complex, iron bisglycinate, 25 mg, 100 vegetable capsules

Iron is a trace element important for the production of red blood cells, which are involved in blood formation, amino acid metabolism and cell division. Iron Bisglycinate is the best form for the body to use and is also gentle on the digestive system. Synergistic action with folic acid ensures proper blood formation and helps to reduce fatigue and exhaustion. The complex is supplemented with an active form of vitamin B12 and vitamin C in the best usable liposomal form, which increases the absorption of iron. It is also enriched with chlorella in organic quality, which thanks to chlorophyll contributes to the formation of hemoglobin. The product does not contain any ballast substances. This product is suitable for blood donors, women with heavy menstruation, but also for vegetarians, vegans, athletes or individuals with digestive tract diseases, in which there is insufficient absorption of vitamins and minerals. We have been approved by the State Food Inspection Authority that this product is suitable for pregnant and breastfeeding women. The product is suitable for vegans. Taking the product contributes to normal energy metabolism, to normal recognition functions, normal production of red blood cells and hemoglobin, to the normal transfer of oxygen in the body, normal function of the immune system, to reduce the level of fatigue and exhaustion, is involved in the process of cell division. Taking folic acid contributes to normal amino acid synthesis, to normal homocysteine metabolism, to the normal function of the immune system, to reduce the level of fatigue and exhaustion, contributes to normal blood formation, to normal mental activity, to the normal function of the immune systemParticipates in cell division.

High absorption of iron bisglycinate

Iron is a mineral essential for the production of haemoglobin, the molecule that carries oxygen to cells throughout the body via red blood cells. Iron Complex contains a chelated form of iron that has better bioavailability than inorganic forms. These are broken down in the digestive tract by enzymes and stomach acids. In addition to better absorption, it is undoubtedly an advantage that the chelated form does not cause constipation or stomach problems.

What causes iron deficiency

During the day we lose about 1 mg of iron. Higher iron requirements are important mainly during menstruation, pregnancy or breastfeeding, when losses can reach up to 2 mg. Iron deficiency leads to anemia, which manifests itself in fatigue, exhaustion, hair loss, but also headaches, with a lack of appetite, dry skin, indigestion, by turning your head, dizziness, sleep disorders, pale skin and heavy menstruation in women.

What does iron do?

Iron is a trace mineral that is important for the formation of red blood cells. It helps transport oxygen through haemoglobin (red blood pigment). It is involved in immune function, reducing fatigue and exhaustion, cognitive function and cell division.

Synergistic combination of iron and folic acid

Active folic acid supports the immune system, participates in cell division and contributes to normal mental activity and normal homocysteine levels. Iron, together with folic acid, is involved in the formation of red blood cells and the transfer of oxygen to all tissues of the body. Iron Complex contains 200 mcg of folic acid in the active form of methyl folate. It is the best for the body to use and, unlike ordinary folic acid, it is used by our body without loss.

Who suffers from iron deficiency?

Among the groups, that are at higher risk for low iron levels include individuals, who are frequent blood donors, women with heavy menstruation, but also vegetarians, Vegans, active and passive athletes with a high level of exertion or people with gastrointestinal diseases, when there is insufficient absorption of vitamins and minerals. Iron deficiency is quite common in pregnant women. During this period, the blood volume increases and the plasma volume multiplies. This results in lower levels of haemoglobin in the blood = anaemia. It manifests itself in headaches, exhaustion, fatigue or poor sleep.

25 mg of iron in a highly usable form in each capsule

To be truly effective, iron supplementation is taken together with folic acid. Together they are involved in blood formation, oxygen transport in the body and immunity. Iron Complex also contains a liposomal form of vitamin C, which enhances iron absorption.

Dosing:
1 capsule per day. When supplementing iron, we recommend a two-hour interval between iron supplementation and a meal containing fibre or high levels of calcium. If taking it on an empty stomach does not make you feel better, you can take it after a smaller meal.
