Carob is obtained from the carob tree known as St John's bread. It is similar to cocoa, but unlike cocoa, it contains less fat. It is often used as a substitute for cocoa. It is light brown in colour and with its sweet chocolate-like taste, it is a perfect substitute for cocoa. BrainMax Pure Karob is a pure carob powder that contains no added substances or preservatives and is of certified organic quality. Karob is full of minerals, including magnesium, iron and calcium, and is suitable for a reduction diet, because it contains a higher amount of protein, a small amount of fat and it is filling for a longer period of time.
