Maitake is a parasitic fungus that grows in clusters on tree trunks and is exceptional in its content of health benefits. It is rich in vitamins (especially B2) and minerals, fiber, beta-glucans (the most effective grifolan). BrainMax Maitake is a powder made from the fruit of a mushroom that is grown on an organic substrate. The substrate is based on a mixture of sawdust, organic wheat bran, fresh soil, cane sugar and natural gypsum. In addition, all mushrooms from each batch are tested in a German independent laboratory for more than 500 known species of heavy metals, pesticides and microorganisms dangerous to humans. We also test for PAHs and radioactivity.
Maitake
It grows wild in parts of Japan, China and North America. It grows near the trunk of oaks, elms and maples. It is a perennial fungus that grows in the same place year after year as long as it is undisturbed. As an edible mushroom, it has an interesting texture and earthy taste.

Recommended dosage
1 - 3 g per day at least half an hour apart from meals, stir in approx. 1 dcl of water and drink (1 aligned teaspoon = 2 g of powder)
It is recommended to take it 5 days a week and skip 2 days.
Take on an empty stomach (min. 30 minutes before or 60 minutes after a meal).

Maitake is ideal to consume in the afternoon. You can mix it into your favorite lukewarm drink or food. The powder is suitable for mixing into juice, tea, cocoa or coffee. Maitake can thus become part of your daily afternoon routine.
