Shiitake is a mushroom that is exceptional in its content of amino acids, vitamins and minerals, making it the queen of mushrooms. Shiitake is rich in essential amino acids, B vitamins and also provitamin D2. We offer BrainMax Pure Shiitake in the form of a powder that comes from the dried fruit of the mushroom. This is ground into a fine powder by a special method, which releases important substances.
Pure Shiitake powder
BrainMax Pure Shiitake is grown on an organic substrate based on a mixture of sawdust, organic wheat bran, cane sugar and natural gypsum. It does not contain any additives or preservatives. Each batch is tested in a German independent laboratory for more than 500 known heavy metals, pesticides and microorganisms dangerous to humans. We also test for PAHs and radioactivity. The Shiitake mushroom belongs to the group of disease-causing woody fungi. It is also possible to grow them on trunks, stumps, logs in domestic conditions. It is high in amino acids, vitamins (B and D2) and minerals. Shiitake has been of great importance in Eastern herbalism for thousands of years. The flesh of the mushroom has a firm consistency and a strong aroma, which is why it is often used in gastronomy. It is most often a part of Asian cuisine, and Asia is also the largest producer of these mushrooms.

Dosage
- 1-3 g daily at least half an hour apart from meals, stir in approx. 1 dcl of water and drink (1 levelled teaspoon = 2 g powder)
- We recommend taking it 5 days a week and skipping 2 days
- Take on an empty stomach (min. 30 minutes before or 60 minutes after a meal)

- Shiitake is recommended to be taken in the evening. The powder can be mixed into any favorite drink or food. Great in juice, tea or cocoa
