Calcichew D3 500 mg/200 IU 20 chewable tablets
Calcichew D3 is used for the prevention and treatment of calcium and vitamin D deficiency and, in consultation with a physician, as a supplement in the treatment of osteoporosis (thinning of the bones). Vitamin D and calcium are used as an adjunct to the specific treatment of osteoporosis in patients at risk of vitamin D and calcium deficiency.
Dosage and method of use
Adults:
complementary therapy for osteoporosis:
one chewable tablet of Calcichew D3 2-3 times a day
deficiency of calcium and vitamin D:
one chewable tablet of Calcichew D3 1-3 times a day
Pediatric population:
calcium and vitamin D deficiency (only):
One chewable tablet of Calcichew D3 1-2 times a day.
Contraindications
Read the package insert carefully. If you are taking Calcichew D3 for the treatment of osteoporosis, it is essential that your doctor determines your blood calcium level before treatment and decides whether treatment with Calcichew D3 is appropriate. Calcichew D3 can be taken in pregnancy for calcium and vitamin D deficiency. Calcichew D3 can be taken while breastfeeding. Calcium and vitamin D pass into breast milk. This should be taken into account if the child is to be given additional vitamin D.

Storage
Keep out of sight and reach of children. Do not use this product after the expiry date stated on the label after "EXP". The expiry date shall be the last day of the month indicated. Store at temperatures up to 30 °C. Keep in the original packaging to protect the product from light. Keep the tablet container tightly closed to protect the product from moisture.
Do not dispose of any medicines in wastewater or household waste. Ask your pharmacist how to dispose of products you no longer use. These measures help protect the environment.
