Caltrate Plus is a combination product with calcium, vitamin D and other important minerals to correct calcium deficiency, increase bone density and prevent bone loss. It is used to prevent osteoporosis and, on the advice of a doctor, to supplement calcium and vitamin D during osteoporosis treatment. Caltrate Plus is also suitable as an adjunct to hormone therapy during menopause.
Dosage and method of use
Adults and adolescents aged 12 and over: 1-2 tablets per day (600-1200 mg of elemental calcium per day).
Contraindications
Read the package insert carefully. Caltrate Plus is not suitable for children under 12 years of age. Do not exceed the recommended dosage. Calcium and vitamin D3 pass into breast milk. This should be taken into account if vitamin D3 is given concurrently to the child. Store at temperatures up to 25ºC in a tightly closed white bottle to protect the product from moisture. Keep out of sight and reach of children.
