The CATA EMPIRE KD 319090 chimney hood rids your kitchen of steam and cooking odours in an instant. This wall-mounted hood is 90cm wide and offers 3 extraction speeds with a low noise level between 51–61dB. The hood's motors are equipped with thermal fuses that prevent them from overheating; if the temperature gets too high, the motors switch off and then switch back on once they have cooled down. The hood’s maximum extraction rate reaches 405m³/h. The control panel features mechanical buttons to adjust the speed and turn on the LED lighting. Inside the hood, you will find metal grease filters that you can easily wash in the dishwasher. You can choose whether the CATA EMPIRE hood operates in extraction or recirculation mode, depending on your needs. Thanks to its angled design, there is more space for manoeuvring above the hob, and the hood can be placed lower than conventional designs. An angled hood can be installed 10–15cm lower than hoods with a flat bottom.
