The CATA EMPIRE KD 330060 chimney hood will clear your kitchen of steam and cooking odours in an instant. This wall-mounted hood is 60cm wide, features 3 extraction speeds, and has a low noise level of 56–70dB. The hood's motors are equipped with thermal fuses that prevent them from overheating; in case of high temperatures, the motors will switch off and then switch back on once they have cooled down. The maximum extraction power of the hood reaches 326m³/h. The control panel features mechanical buttons to adjust the speed and turn on the LED lighting. Inside the hood, you will find metal grease filters that you can easily wash in the dishwasher. You can choose whether the CATA EMPIRE hood operates in extraction or recirculation mode, depending on your needs. The angled design creates more space for manoeuvring above the hob, and the hood can be placed lower than conventional designs. An angled hood can be installed 10–15cm lower than hoods with a flat bottom (making the controls more accessible, even for shorter people).
