With the CATA EMPIRE KDP 348060 chimney hood, you can rid your kitchen of steam and cooking odours in an instant. This wall-mounted hood is 60cm wide and offers 3 extraction speeds with a low noise level of 51–61dB. The hood's motors are equipped with thermal fuses, which prevent them from overheating by switching them off at high temperatures and turning them back on once they cool down. The maximum extraction power of the hood is 405m³/h. The control panel features mechanical buttons to adjust the speed and turn on the LED lighting. Inside the hood, you will find metal grease filters that you can easily wash in the dishwasher. You can choose whether the CATA EMPIRE hood operates in extraction or recirculation mode, depending on your needs. Thanks to its angled design, there is more space for manoeuvring above the hob, and the hood can be placed lower than conventional designs.

Remote control and angled design
Using the remote control makes maintaining the hood easier. Fewer fingerprints on the hood mean less cleaning. The remote has a magnet, so you can stick it to your fridge door. This way, it's always within reach and won't get lost. The angled hood increases the maneuvering space above the hob and significantly reduces the risk of bumping your head. It can be installed 10–15cm lower than hoods with a flat bottom (making the controls more accessible for shorter people).
