With the CATA EMPIRE KDP 348090 chimney cooker hood, you can rid your kitchen of steam and cooking odours in an instant. This wall-mounted cooker hood is 90cm wide and offers 3 extraction speeds with a low noise level of 51–61dB. The cooker hood motors are equipped with thermal fuses to prevent them from overheating. In case of high temperatures, the motors will switch off and then switch back on once they have cooled down. The maximum extraction power of the cooker hood reaches 405m³/h. The control panel features mechanical buttons for setting the speed and switching on the LED lighting. Inside the hood, you will find metal grease filters that are easy to clean in the dishwasher. You can choose whether the CATA EMPIRE cooker hood operates in extraction or recirculation mode, depending on your needs. Thanks to its angled design, there is more space for manoeuvring above the hob, and the cooker hood can be positioned lower than traditional designs.

Remote control and angled design
Using the remote control simplifies cooker hood maintenance. Fewer fingerprints on the hood mean easier cleaning. The remote has a magnet, so you can attach it to your fridge door. This keeps it within easy reach and prevents it from getting lost. An angled cooker hood increases the manoeuvring space above the hob and significantly reduces the risk of bumping your head on it. It can be installed 10–15cm lower than cooker hoods with a flat bottom (making the controls more accessible, even for shorter people).
