The infrared radiator contains a reflector heating system (golden halogen bulb) that ensures even heat radiation. Infrared heaters do not heat the air as such. Infrared rays pass freely through the air and when they hit the human body, objects, floors, walls, etc. they are only just being converted into heat. Because you feel the heat from the infrared heater as soon as it is switched on, there is no need to preheat the room as with other heating sources. The infrared heater saves electricity compared to traditional electric heaters. The infrared heater is designed for outdoor local heating, but must not be placed in the rain.
