The Cayin MT-12N is an integrated tube Hi-Fi amplifier with 11 W per channel and three RCA/Cinch inputs. It uses point-to-point connection technology, which minimizes noise and ensures a clean signal path. The core of the design is two EL output transformers with a wide frequency range and a toroidal power transformer. The black amplifier is equipped with high-quality components and offers a robust chassis with an easily removable protective tube cover. The typical tube character delivers a warm and full sound. The frequency response is 9–45,000 Hz, the signal-to-noise ratio is 87 dB, and the total harmonic distortion (THD) is 0.5%.

The Cayin MT-12N model comes with one 12AU7 tube and two 6N1 tubes. It is also equipped with EL84EH power tubes and four pairs of 6P1 operating in class AB1. Also included is a Japanese ALPS potentiometer for precise volume control .
